I pushed super hard this week during the evenings to get Utena done in time for a shoot this weekend with some friends! I also realized I completely forgot the Sword of Dios, so busted that out SUPER fast. I used the base sword (made of pine) that I had from Pentheselia, sawed off the hilt (which was too long) and got started. I used Worbla to fill it out, @sculpey_polyform for the bead, and managed to finish it! I can’t WAIT for photos this weekend! :D
I also owe someone a BIG thank you for the gift of a drill, which got used SO MUCH for this, I couldn’t have made it without it!
